- The first time I used it, I didn't know what it was doing, and the instructions were poor. I looked it up online, followed the instructions, and it worked perfectly. Not only does it make cool looking ice cubes, but I like how they work in my soda. I don't drink, but if you do, I'm sure they work great. I make some and store them in Ziploc bags. - love molded ice, so when I saw this I was excited to try it. The entire system is about the size of a 1/2 gallon carton of ice cream, so it takes up some space in the freezer. There are only two components, but I had an issue with the placement of the fill line. On the first try, I didn't wait enough hours on the second, I didn't fill it enough on the third try, I got two spheres and two large rectangular blocks. They aren't as clear as I thought they should be I used filtered water. If you needed a lot for multiple people, it would definitely require some planning. It definitely takes at least 24 hours to form. It will be fun to place some fruit or mint inside with the water to freeze and use in cocktails.01/07/2025
- Filtered, bottled water produces the best ice with this mold. The tap water where I use it is very hard well water and doesn't produce the clearest ice, but it's still quite clear. Otherwise, it works wonderfully. The instructions indicate using filtered water.01/07/2025
